Summary
This course provides students with a comprehensive study of the object oriented paradigm and its implementation in the C++ language including classes, information hiding, abstract data types, polymorphism, virtual functions, and templates. Many exercises are provided in order to reinforce the class material.
This course provides the knowledge and understanding to develop significant C++ programs. An interactive, hands-on approach covers all the necessary skills needed to make full use of C++ powerful object-oriented structure. The participant will learn how to develop lower cost, reusable software.
Instructor
Roger Hunt received his BS in EE and Computer Science at the University of Illinois in 1970. In 1971 he received his MS in EE from the University of Illinois. From 1972-1975, Mr. Hunt served as an officer in the US Navy, where he designed and implemented software systems for storage, retrieval and report generation. He was also an adjunct faculty member of the National Cryptologic School. He has been a primary software developer with increasing responsibility at the Aviation Research Laboratory, Logicon Inc. and Penril Datacomm. Mr. Hunt is an experienced instructor and has taught for ATI, Johns Hopkins University, training etc., Inc., Advantec Institute, Computer Science Corporation, The Institute for Advanced Professional Studies, Logicon, The National Cryptologic School and the University of Illinois.
